Dyslexia is a language processing disorder, which normally
"shows up" when a student has difficulty with
reading and writing in school. However, there are many
warning signs, which appear in people as early as the
age of three. Some of these include:
Delayed speech
Mixing up sounds and syllables in long words
Chronic ear infections
Constant confusion of left versus right
Difficulty learning to tie shoes
People with Dyslexia are very smart, and need to learn
to write and read using an Orton-Gillingham program.
Heidi's instruction is multi-sensory and very active
which helps motivate and inspire students of any age!
