Dyslexia is a language processing disorder, which normally "shows up" when a student has difficulty with reading and writing in school. However, there are many warning signs, which appear in people as early as the age of three. Some of these include:

• Delayed speech
• Mixing up sounds and syllables in long words
• Chronic ear infections
• Constant confusion of left versus right
• Difficulty learning to tie shoes

People with Dyslexia are very smart, and need to learn to write and read using an Orton-Gillingham program. Heidi's instruction is multi-sensory and very active which helps motivate and inspire students of any age!
